One vital facet of the overall business is within the facilities management services industry. We recognized a gap in the Egyptian market for a high-quality facility management company. To fill this growing need, we invested in Contrack FM and Orascom Industrial Parks (Orascom-IP).
Contrack FM is a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of Orascom Construction PLC, founded in 2004.

In Q2 2019, Orascom Construction and the Arab Contractors signed an EPC contract to build the Bahr El Baqr Wastewater Treatment Plant, the largest wastewater treatment plant in Egypt with a capacity of 5 million m³ per day. The joint venture will also operate and maintain the facility for five years.
In 2018, Orasqualia, a 50-50 JV between Orascom Construction and Aqualia, undertook the EPC work of the Abu Rawash Wastewater Treatment Plant. The joint venture will also operate and maintain the facility for three years. The plant will have a capacity of 1.6 million m³/day and will serve six million people once complete.
In August 2019, Bombardier Transportation, Orascom Construction PLC and Arab Contractors signed an agreement with the National Authority for Tunnels in Cairo to design and build two new monorail lines in Egypt. On completion of the construction phase, the consortium will be responsible for the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of both lines for 30 years. Orascom Construction will design and build all infrastructure and civil works, including stations, guideway structures and new depot buildings.
